The 2012 gathering of the Silent Samaritan Society is expected to hear an inspirational message from Dr. Jesse Brunson, senior pastor of Galilee United Methodist Church in Laurinburg.
The Society willTuesday at 6:00 pm at the W.R. Dulin Center on the campus of Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Brunson will speak to the once per year gathering on the subject of “A Good Deed Given Anonymously”. His message is expected to serve as one of encouragement to Silent Samaritans to help raise money for Scotland Family Counseling Center, a faith-integrated counseling services.
The program will include fellowship and a meal and will begin with a welcome by Lynn and Jim Mason, the Leaders of the Society. The evening will also include comments from Greg Wood, the CEO of Scotland Health Care System, a statement of gratitude by Rev. George Ellis, a responsive litany led by Rev. C. F. McDowell and a musical selection by Karen Clark, Office Manager of Scotland Family Counseling Center.
The Silent Samaritan Society is open to the public.
