Laurinburg man shot to death

Laurinburg police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night that left one person dead and another in the hospital. The shooting, which occurred just off West Boulevard, took the life of 18-year-old Larry Wayne Goodwin. Also injured was 25-year-old Jennifer Easterling, who according to reports, lived at the home. Easterling was shot once and was taken to an area hospital. Her condition is not known. It is unclear if an arrest had been made in the shooting. Police are expected to release more details later today. The shooting happened at about 6 p.m. at 808 Tarboro St.
