Chris Dawson of Main Street Master’s Barbershop cuts James Brown Jr.’s hair Thursday afternoon. Living Word Ministries of Laurinburg sponsored a back-to-school event at the barbershop for North Laurinburg Elementary School students to get hair cuts and gave away school supplies. “This is a great way for us to give back to our community and show support for our young people,” said Living Word Pastor Keith Diggs. School starts for Scotland County Schools students on Monday.
