Former Fighting Scot football standout Terrell Manning was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round of NFL draft Saturday afternoon.
In a 2011-12 draft class considered one of the deepest in years, Manning was drafted 163th overall, the 28th pick in the fifth round.
As a linebacker for NC State, Manning had 70 tackles with four forced fumbles and two interceptions in the 2011 season.
Manning is a 2008 graduate of Scotland High School.
