LAURINBURG - Santos Rubio, 55, of 302 W. Church St. Apt. A was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of simple assault, according to a sheriff’s report. Rubio was released under a written promise to appear in court.

LAURINBURG - Michael Ward, 19, of 17960 Laurel Lane was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of larceny, according to a sheriff’s report. Ward was placed under a $1,000 unsecured bond.

LAURINBURG - Linda Gilmore reported a breaking and entering and larceny on Thursday on Andrew Jackson Highway, according to a sheriff’s report. An electric stove valued at $200 and a refrigerator valued at $300 were stolen.

LAURINBURG - Henry Hegwer of Gibson Road reported a breaking and entering and larceny at his home on Thursday, according to a sheriff’s report. A chainsaw valued at $200 and a power washed valued at $250 were stolen.

GIBSON - Bobby Pearson, 35, of 14180 Quick St. was arrested Thursday under a warrant for one felony count of breaking and entering, one felony count of larceny after breaking entering, and one felony count of obtaining property by false pretense, according to a sheriff’s report. Pearson was placed under a $2,500 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Larry Williams, 32, of 21781 Airbase Road was arrested Thursday under a warrant for one felony count of larceny and one felony count of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, according to a sheriff’s report. Williams was placed under a $10,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Kaleb Briar Sandlin, 20, of 10961 Aurora St. was arrested Friday for one count of manufacturing marijuana, according to a police report. Sandlin was placed under a $5,000 bond.

LAURINBURG - Kevon Timbell Drakeford, 19, of Douglas Street was arrested Friday for one felony count of breaking and entering, one felony count of larceny, and one count of resist/delay/obstruct an officer, according to a police report. Drakeford was placed under a $30,000 bond.
