LAURINBURG - Patrick Smiling, 24, of 11741 Pankytown Road was issued a criminal summons on Tuesday for one count of simple assault, according to a sheriff’s report.

GIBSON - Megan Benfield, 18, of 2820 Skipper Road was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of injury to personal property, according to a sheriff’s report. Benfield was placed under a $1,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Alexis Freeman, 19, was arrested Wednesday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Freeman was placed under a $5,000 secured bond.

LAUREL HILL - Johnny Sellers of Omah Hill Drive reported a breaking and entering and larceny at his home on Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s report. Stolen were two flat screen Toshiba televisions and $200 in U.S. coins.

LAURINBURG - Francis Romaine, 23, of 8040 St. Andrews Drive was issued a criminal summons on Wednesday for one count of larceny, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - James Monroe, 56, of 5501 Crestline Road was issued a criminal summons on Wednesday for one count of larceny, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - Cindy Locklear of Old Johns Road reported a larceny at her home on Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s report. A window air conditioning unit was stolen.

LAURINBURG - Jared Cross of Old Lumberton Road reported the burning of a residence on Wednesday, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - Sean Romaine, 24, of 8040 St. Andrews Drive was arrested Thursday under an order for arrest for five counts of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. Romaine was placed under a $16,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Laurissa Powell, 18, of 11781 Lytch Road was issued a criminal summons on Thursday for one count of communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - Amanda Biller, 24, of 18601 Blakely Road was arrested Thursday under a warrant for one count of fraud, according to a sheriff’s report. Biller was released under a written promise to appear in court.
