A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at Hillside Cemetery.
He was born on Jan. 1, 1938 and was a son of the late David and Levie Caison Quick. David formerly served in the U.S. Navy and worked in the steel mills in Indiana.
He is survived by two sons: Troy and Danny of Indiana, three daughters: Shelly, Jeanie, and Jodi of Indiana, his brother Charles Quick of Clover, S.C., and his sister Lillian Quick of Laurinburg.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
