Kristi Maria Caddell and Jason Michael Huddleson were united in marriage on October 6, 2012 at 5:30 in the evening at the Thomas Walton Manor in Laurinburg. The Rev. Dr. Neal Carter officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Danny and Carolina Caddell of Laurinburg. She is the granddaughter of Charito Morales Grady of Laurinburg. She graduated from Appalachian State University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is employed with Trulife Healthcare, Inc., as a manager in Breastcare Medical Sales.

The groom is the son of David and Deborah Ostrander of Falconer, N.Y. He is employed with DiFabion Remodeling as a lead contractor.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a lustrous ivory satin fitted gown by bridal designer Pronovias. Her gown had a modified sweetheart neckline and architecturally ruched body. The chapel train opened the ruched and pleated detail of the gown into a fanned design. She carried a hand tied bridal bouquet of Mondial roses.

The bride was attended by her sister Julie McKinnon Caddell of Charlotte as maid of honor. She wore a mocha colored floor length dress with a ruched body. Bridesmaids were Melissa Ayers Caddell of Charlotte, Danielle Rene’ Huddleson of Ellington, N.Y., and Erica Wesley Green of Rochester, N.Y.. The junior bridesmaid was Makayla Emeral Huddleson of Charlotte. The bridesmaids wore dresses identical to the maid of honor’s and also carried hand tied garden bouquets of of light pink Geraldine roses.

The groom chose his lifelong friend Samuel Joseph Piazza of Dunkirk, N.Y. as the best man. The groomsmen were Ronny David Caldwell and Christopher Carmelo of Falconer, N.Y., Robert Joseph Morris of Randolph, N.Y., and Rangley Beau King and Robert Daniel Caddell, Jr. both of Charlotte. The groom’s traditional black tuxedo was adorned with a white rose boutonierre. The groomsmen and fathers of the bride and groom wore pale pink porcelaina roses.

The flower girl was Miss Hannah Beth Caddell, niece of the bride. She wore an ivory empire waisted floor length dress with a flowing tulle skirt. The ring bearer was Charles Marshall Caddell (Charlie), nephew of the bride. He also wore a traditional black tuxedo. The flower girl’s basket and hair adornment and the ring bearer’s pillow were handmade by the bride’s mother from antique Puerto Rican lace that was hand beaded by the family of the bride’s grandmother, Charito Morales Grady of Laurinburg.

The junior usher was Anthony Fiasco, nephew of the groom, who assisted as the gift attendant. The honorary bridesmaids were Sarah Elizabeth Abernethy of Waxhaw and Emily Gibson Tennant of Charlotte, who were the program attendants. The registry attendant was Ms. Mary Jessup Gooden, cousin of the bride. A brass quartet provided the music with Joanna Hersey on euphonium, Chad Horsley on trombone and Ed Gunter and Sheryl Linch-Parker on trumpet. Soloist was Mrs. Erica Allen McGee of Charlotte, cousin of the bride.

Following the marriage ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Thomas Walton Manor which began with a cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing on the beautiful garden grounds. On Friday evening, a rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents was held at the Kingfisher Society of Laurel Hill. Afterwards the couple was honored with a dance hosted by friends of the bride’s family. The events began with a festive boat ride from the Kingfisher lodge to the pavilion where guests enjoyed dinner, dancing, and sitting by a roaring fire pit by the water’s edge. Earlier on Friday, a bridesmaid’s luncheon, exquisitely decorated in a fall theme, was hosted by the bride’s aunts, Mrs. Melinda Gooden, Mrs. Jane Grady, Mrs. Joy Grady, and Mrs. Marcella McGee, at the Thomas Walton Manor.

A Sunday morning breakfast was hosted at the bride’s parents’ home by friends. After the wedding, the couple traveled to Saint Lucia for their honeymoon.

The newlyweds will reside in Indian Land, South Carolina in their newly built home.
