Mr. James Bryant, 73, of Gibson died on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at Goodwin Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Gibson, the Rev. Jessie McLendon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Dina Bryant of Gibson, nine sons: David Bryant and A.J. Leak of Gibson, James C. Bryant of Youngstown, Ohio, William Bryant of Washington, D.C., James (Yvonne) Bryant, Jr. of Washington,D.C., James Charles Moore of Tiffany, Ohio, Lorenzo Moore of Ohio, Tony Bryant of Washington, D.C., and Calvin (Mary) Bryant of Maxton, two daughters: Debra (Michael) Johnson of Gibson and Debra Frazier of Maryland, four brothers: George Bryant of Maryland, Harvey Bryant of Maryland, William Bryant of Gibson, and Charles (Rose) Ford of Bennettsville, S.C., sister Odessa Albrooks of Maryland, 22 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
