Authorities are looking for two men who robbed a store in Wagram.

It was nearly closing time at Wagram's lone tobacco shop when the attendant ventured outside to start his car on Tuesday night, Wagram Police Chief Kenneth told The Laurinburg Exchange on Wednesday.

More than just the cold night air was waiting for the store clerk, however.

Two men dressed in black and wearing camouflage ski masks approached the man as he walked to his car, Locklear said. The two men held a gun to the attendant's head and had him go back into the store and open the cash register.

The two men fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, but did not take anything else, according to the Wagram police chief.

Locklear says Wagram police have few solid leads at this point and are asking Scotland County residents for help in identifying the two masked robbers.

If you have any information on this crime, contact the Wagram Police Department at 369-2400 or the Scotland County Sheriff's Department at 276-3385. Tips can be reported anonymously to the Scotland Crime Stoppers hotline at 291-3333.
