John 14: 1 – 2 – “ “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.”

We are always excited about anniversaries, reunions, birthdays, and family gatherings. This weekend our church is celebrating our second anniversary. We are having a weekend homecoming celebration. There is coming a day that all Christians will gather in a heavenly homecoming. In John 14, Jesus speaks about this by telling us about a PREPARED PLACE. We each are going to have a special place designed and constructed by God Himself for us. Jesus also talks about a PREPARED PROMISE in this passage. He tells us in John 14: 3 that He is coming back to take us personally to this prepared place. He ends by giving us a PREPARED PLAN on how to receive this place and promise. He tells us the plan is that He is the way, the truth, and the life. By trusting in Him we can have a New Hope for Today.
