LAUREL HILL - Brandon Patterson of Crawford Lake Road reported the larceny of a canine from his home on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report. The dog stolen is a black and white pitbull valued at $400.

LAUREL HILL - Brandon Patterson, 18, of 21781 Crawford Lake Road was arrested Tuesday under a warrant for one count of trespassing, according to a sheriff’s report. Patterson was released under a written promise to appear in court.

LAURINBURG - Jemery Jones reported an incidence of larceny from a motor vehicle parked on Lee’s Mill Road on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report. A car stereo valued at $700, an amplifier valued at $300, and CDs and DVDs valued at $150 were stolen.

LAURINBURG - Jerome McKenzie, 42, of 203 McCall St. was arrested Tuesday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear at a child support hearing, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - Scotland County Schools reported the possession of a weapon on school grounds on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report. A retractable box cutter was seized on the grounds of Shaw Academy.

LAUREL HILL - Karen Locklear, 36, of 21861 Omah Hill Drive was arrested Tuesday under an order for arrest for one count of failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report.

LAURINBURG - Rodriguez Dockery, 19, of 12960 Andrews Drive was arrested Tuesday for one count of possession of a stolen firearm, according to a police report. Dockery was placed under a $2,000 secured bond.

LAURINBURG - Forrest Hunt, 18, of 17261 Barnes Bridge Road was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, according to a sheriff’s report. Hunt was placed under a $1,000 unsecured bond.
