LAURINBURG - Jeff Maidment of Barnes Bridge Road reported a larceny at his home on Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report. Assorted U.S. currency valued at $50 was stolen.

LAURINBURG - Ervin Dixon, 43, of 9201 Price St. was arrested Tuesday under a warrant for one count of simple assault, according to a sheriff’s report. Dixon was released under a written promise to appear in court.

LAURINBURG - Christopher McLean, 20, of 16181 Palomino Court was arrested Wednesday under a warrant for one count of assault on a female and one count of injury to personal property, according to a sheriff’s report. McLean was placed under no bond.
