Malcolm “Mac” Neal Wallace, 71, of Laurinburg died on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.

Malcolm was born on Sept. 13, 1941 in Scotland County, son of the late Thomas Vance Wallace and Novella Currie Wallace. He was a retired welder from Industrial Metal Products. He was a Duke and NASCAR sports fan and truly enjoyed spending time with family.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Alton Glen Wallace and sister Blondell Clark.

Mac is survived by his wife Agnes Wallace, his son Tommy Wallace and wife Stephanie of Laurinburg, sisters Irene Oakley of Zebulon, Marilyn Johnson of Raleigh, and Martha Scott of Carthage, two grandchildren: Tomas Wallace and Tiffany Stillion, and his great-granddaughter Kamerin Stillion.

The family will receive friends at the family home from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013.
