Funeral services for Mr. Powell will commence on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 beginning at 2 p.m. Services will be held at All In The Word World International Ministries in Laurinburg. Apostle Lawrence Jackson III will officiate.
Visitation hours have been scheduled for Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at Jacskon Funeral Home in Laurinburg from 2-6 p.m.
Mr. Powell is survived by three daughters: Patricia Scott and Catrice Powell of Columbus, Ohio and Renee Rosa Hoist, four sons: James Bostic of California, Johnny Bostic of Hamlet, Darrell Powell of Laurinburg, and Sean Hoist, and his brother Eddie Powell of New York
