Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife Sara Clark Medlin, his son Michael Medlin of Laurinburg, his daughter Beverly Medlin of Laurinburg, and his mother Peggy Moody Medlin of Laurinburg.
Born on Sept. 23, 1963 in Laurinburg, he was also a son of the late Jame H. "Jimmy" Medlin. He was a fireman for the Gibson Volunteer Fire Department and formerly served with the Laurinburg Fire Department. In his free time he enjoyed a bit of golf, hunting, and fishing.

Visitation will follow the service at graveside.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
