Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at Bright Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Laurinburg. Burial and dove ceremony will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at Graham Temple Church in Laurinburg.
Survivors include his wife Joann Leak Johnson, son Flanda Daniel of Little Washington, daughters Elizabeth Richardson of Rocky Mount, Cynthia Leak of Laurinburg, Lorene McCoy of Laurinburg, Marcia Robinson of Rowland, Sarah Bethea of Gibson, and Priscilla Leak of the home, brothers William Johnson of Chocowinity and John Johnson of Pantego, and sisters Patsy Wilkerson of Hempstead, N.Y., Vercal Peartree of Terra Ceia, Edith Jones of Washington, D.C., and Helen Rodman of Terra Ceia.
