The viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at Purcell Funeral Home of Laurinburg. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife Isabella Egerton of Laurinburg, daughters Mary Egerton-Fizgerald (Andre) of Norfolk, Va. and Rebecca Egerton-Jordan (Patrick) of Baltimore, Md., sister Rebecca Wilson (Elder Wilson) of Chesapeake, Va., and six grandchildren.
