To the editor:
On behalf of everyone at Hospice of Scotland County—our patients and their families, staff, and members of the Board of Trustees—we would like to thank Jim and Frances Willis and the entire Parker’s Posse group for their outstanding support of our agency. Jim and Frances graciously opened their home to more than 200 people on October 10 for a fun evening of food, drink and fellowship, as well as great music presented by Jim Quick, the Coastline Band, and Big John Thompson. The event raised $7,000 for Hospice of Scotland County, funds which will directly benefit our patients.
For 23 years, Hospice of Scotland County has provided outstanding end-of-life care for members of this community, thanks to the seemingly unlimited generosity of our neighbors and friends. This latest demonstration of that support, by Jim and Frances and everyone who makes up Parker’s Posse, affirms our mission and reminds us why we are proud to serve Laurinburg, Scotland County and our entire service area.
Again, thank you for making a true difference for the patients and families served by Hospice of Scotland County.
