Dianne Ransom Jernigan, 60, of Laurel Hill passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Maxton Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Revs. Mike Coble and Lewis Britt. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Gibson.

She is survived by her mother Frances Davis Ransom of McColl, S.C., her sons Herbie Jernigan, Jr., Jamie Jernigan, and Brandon Jernigan of Laurel Hill, her daughter Misty Jernigan of Laurinburg, her brother William Ransom of McColl, her sisters Carol Coleman, Edna Britt, Lisa Jones, and Janice Jones of McColl, and 13 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Herbie Jernigan and her brother Ricky Davis.

Born on March 22, 1952 in Marlboro County, she was a daughter of the late H. B. Ransom. She served for 17 years as a CNA for Scotia Village.

Dianne enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church, working crossword puzzles, and music.
