Employee charged with stealing drugs
A pharmacy employee was charged with stealing drugs.
Crissy Marie McGee, 30, of Debra's Way, Laurel Hill, was arrested Saturday at 4 p.m. and charged with embezzlement of a controlled substance by an employee, according to a sheriff's report. She was released on a written promise to appear in court.
McGee was employed by Scotland Drug, located at 140 S. Main St., Laurinburg, the report said.
Accused larcenist charged
A Laurinburg man was accused of an October 30 theft, a sheriff's report said.
Antone Jerome Mack, 22, of Sara Lane, was served warrants Sunday charging him with two counts of larceny, the report said. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
Break-in reported
A Maxton man reported a break-in.
Winford Locklear, 54, of Treasure Drive, reported on Wednesday that someone broke into his home and stole property, according to a sheriff’s report.
Missing were a $360 ring, $300 gun, $130 in cash, and a $10 ammunition box.
