Alleged larcenist arrested

An accused larcenist was arrested Saturday, a sheriff's report said.

Robert Anthony Quick, 37, of Horseshoe Road, Wagram, is charged with larceny, domestic criminal trespassing and communicating threats. He was placed in Scotland County jail without bond.

The report listed the complainant as Tonya Byrd – Quick's next-door neighbor.

AC unit, parts, taken from Waverly

A vacant East Laurinburg mill allegedly had parts stolen from its air-conditioning units, a sheriff's report said.

A representative of Waverly Mills told officers that, between Friday and Monday, someone stole parts to an air conditioning condenser and a 25-ton air conditioner. The units are worth about $30,000.

Grocery reports break-in

A grocery near Robeson County reported a break-in over the weekend.

County Line Grocery, located at Highway 71, Maxton, reported that someone entered the business by pushing an air-conditioning unit out of the window and stole $600 in cash and over $100 in cigarettes, a sheriff's report said.

Two charged with assault

Deputies arrested two city residents on Vance Street on assault charges Friday afternoon, a sheriff's report said.

Khiry Caprice Wright, 19, of South Caledonia Road, Laurinburg, is charged with assault on a female.

Shalona Patrice Bridger, 18, of Jackson Street is charged with assault.

Both were placed in Scotland County jail without bond.

$1,300 TV stolen

A television worth $1,300 was reported stolen Monday afternoon, a sheriff's report said.

Sherika Lontet Fairley, 26 told deputies that someone stole a flat screen television from her home on Harris Road in Wagram sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Laurel Hill accused as thief

Warrants were served on an accused thief from Laurel Hill, a sheriff's report said.

Sandy Lee Coleman, 35, of Bayfield Road, was charged Monday with misdemeanor larceny for allegedly stealing from Springfield Convenience Store on Saturday.

He was released on a written promise to appear in court.
