A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at New Light Pentecostal Holiness Church in Laurinburg, officiated by the Rev. Doris McEachin. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her father James (Annette) Tyson of Irvington, N.J., brothers Virgil (Felicia) Tyson of Laurinburg, James Tyson, Jr. of Miami, Fla., and Mark Thorton of Montclair, N.J., and sisters Sandra (Anthony) Richardson of Fayetteville, Rita Moore of Laurinburg, Ann Smith of Laurinburg, Debra Tyson of Miami, Fla., and Jeanette (Eddie) Lane of Sumter, S.C.
