Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Laurel Hill United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Lamar Smith. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by her son Jimmy Pipkin of Laurel Hill, her granddaughters Paula Clark of Greenville and Suzanne Rounds of Matthews, and her great-grandchildren Madison Clark of Greenville, Elizabeth Rounds of Charlotte, and Kaitlyn Rounds of Matthews.
Born on June 9, 1914 in Chesterfield County, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Sarah Stephens McDaniel and widow of the late Pate Daniels.
Alma served at the Ingraham Clock Company for 15 years until her retirement in 1977. An active member of the Laurel Hill United Methodist Church as long as her health permitted, she was a member and teacher in the Lula Watkins Bible Class and active with the Women's Society Christian Service.
Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday until service time at the church and at 4 p.m. at Scotia Village.
