Refugees are pouring out of Syria and many are targeted for political asylum in the U.S.

Their situation is very sad, yet extremely troubling. Part of this mass retreat has already been relocated in various states and without the state’s knowledge.

That’s right, when the government uses private organizations to relocate refugees, they are not obligated to notify state authorities of the refugees placement.

Better than 70 such emigrants were recently placed in New Jersey without any notification given to the state government. Under these circumstances keeping accurate statistics on who, where and what is coming into our country is impossible and they tell us not to worry, the government has it all under control. That being said, if you have 1,000 pieces of candy and you know only one piece is deadly poison how many would eat?

The Heritage Foundation has studied refugee demographics and found our government’s constantly referring to the refugees as mostly widows and orphans is far from accurate, in fact 60 percent are men with 40 percent of them being of military age. And if you check into what is actually going on in Syria you’ll find the women left behind have had to take up arms to defend their homes and families while most of the young men have run away to some other country.

After 30 years in the Carolinas there’s one thing I can say about Southern men — you’ll always have a few that will leave their families and run off with other women, — but for the most part, if his home or family were in danger a true Southerner wouldn’t leave his family and run off to hide in Canada or Mexico, especially if he had to answer to Mama.

It seems what these Syrian men really need isn’t a place to hide as much as self confidence and discipline. Why not send the single men through a Marine Corp Boot Camp, give them some training in guerrilla warfare like the Viet Cong used on us, equip them with the right weapons, provide a supply line, and send them back home to help the women? Let’s face it we already have enough of our own that have been trained not to stand up for yourself and fight, are willing to give the government their guns because the guns are evil, and will gladly give up their freedom for a little security. Why would we want more?

The U.S. maintained a balanced relationship with most middle eastern countries for decades, we needed their oil and they

needed our dollars. One way you usually can tell if a middle eastern country is aggressive or friendly towards the West, it’s simply comparing the population of Sunni to Shia. Like old western movies, Sunni are the White Hats and Shia wear Black Hats, examples: EGYPT earns a White Hat with, Sunni 87 percent- Shia 3 percent…TURKEY, a fellow NATO member, Sunni 80 percent – Shia 20 percent…IRAN is definitely a Black Hat with 9 percent Sunni and 89 percent. Shia ..IRAQ, Sunni 32 percent – Shia 63 percent…SAUDI ARABIA, Sunni, 53 percent – Shia 25 percent…… ISRAEL, Sunni 15 percent – Shia 0 percent. SYRIA, Sunni 73 percent – Shia 15 percent. ‘

Of all of these countries Syria is the one exception. Syria has a dominant population of Sunni yet the minority faction of Shia, “Aliwites” a Socialist/Communist regime, are running the Syrian government, which might account for their friendship of Communist Russia and China. Conclusion: Of the middle eastern countries that are friendly towards the West, Sunni’s are in charge of the government, with Syria being the exception.

The Druze, which are members of a mystic sect that broke away from Shiite Islam in the 11th century, are ideologically loyal to the countries in which they reside. Israel’s Druze speak Hebrew and many in the Galilee region serve in the Israel Defense Forces. Many Druze seek Israeli citizenship out of a fear of widespread persecution in Syria if Assad’s regime falls. Assad’s government has protected minority groups such as Druze and Christians in the past. For this reason and others ISIS believes that the Shias are apostates and must die in order to forge a pure form of Islam. ISIS refers to Alawites, the Muslim sect to which President Bashar al-Assad of Syria belongs, as being, “worse infidels than Christians or Jews”.

Remembering all those different Islamic names is like trying to remember everyone’s name at a Southern style family reunion,” for the most part Muslims sects seem to get along with each other about as well as most dysfunctional families, only thing in the South, they generally don’t go around shooting each other over which church you go to.
