Arrests


LAURINBURG — Debra Morrison, 56, of 404 White St. in Wagram, was arrested Monday for larceny at Walmart, according to a police report. She was held under a $1,000 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Joshua Johnson, 19, of 309 South King St., was arrested on Monday with an outstanding warrant for simple assault, according to a police report. He was held under a $300 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Robert Tew, 29, of 14980 Barnes Bridge Road, was arrested Monday and charged with misdemeanor assault on a female, according to a sheriff’s report. He was not given a bond.


LAURINBURG — Kelli Norton, 33, of 13360 Oakwood Drive, was served with an order for arrest on Monday for failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. She was held under a $2,000 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — John Puczylowski, 28, of 5030 Montecello Ave. in Hope Mills, was served with an order for arrest Monday for failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. He was held under a $1,000 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Jackie Cummings, 30, of 1792 Deep Branch Road in Lumberton, was served with an order for arrest Monday for failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. He was held under a $100 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Ruby Baccus, 53, of 18640 Fairley St. in Laurel Hill, was served with an order for arrest Monday for failure to appear in court, according to a sheriff’s report. She was held under a $100 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Timmy Hatcher, 51, 19300 Corbitt Road in Laurel Hill, was arrested on Monday and charged with misdemeanor second degree trespassing, according to a sheriff’s report. He was held under a $300 unsecured bond.


LAURINBURG — James Leggette, 35, of 1010 Salem St., was arrested Monday and charged with assault on female, according to a sheriff’s report.


 Break-ins


LAURINBURG — It was reported on Monday that the vehicle of David Locklear, of Main Street in Gibson, had been broken into in the Walmart parking lot, according to a police report. Assorted items were stolen.


Theft


LAURINBURG — McCarter Electric reported Monday that three spools of copper wire, worth about $1,300 had been stolen from FCC at U.S. 15/401 Bypass, according to a police report.


WAGRAM — John Graham, of Hill Creek Road, reported Monday that someone stole a blue moped, worth about $900, from his home, according to a sheriff’s report.


WAGRAM — James Dudley and Pearl Dudley, of Airbase Road, reported on Monday that someone stole the license plates from the vehicles at their home, according to a sheriff’s report.


Vandalism


LAURINBURG — Robin Cribb, of Highland Drive, reported Monday that some busted the rear passenger window to his vehicle, causing about $250 damage, according to a police report.


LAUREL HILL — Chris McCusker, of St. Johns Church Road, reported on Monday that someone shot into his home and caused about $30 damage to a storm glass door, according to a sheriff’s report. No one was injured.


Assault


LAURINBURG — Samantha Cummings, of Apple Lane, and Melissa Cummings, of Springhill Road, reported on Monday, around 8 a.m., that someone cut Samantha Cummings, according to a sheriff’s report. She suffered a minor cut on her hand and the keys to her house and car were stolen. The offender also threw something at Melissa Cummings’ car and caused about $200 damage to the driver side glass window.
