Arrests


LAURINBURG — Gina Anne Quick Beach of 408 McNair Ave. was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felonious breaking and entering and felonious larceny after breaking and entering, according to a police report. Beach broke into a residence on McNair Avenue and stole approximately $150 in jewelry and $40 in cash. She later admitted that she took the items when police arrived at her home and was taken into custody. Beach was placed in the Scotland County Jail and held under a $15,000 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Frederick Locklear, 37, of 420 East Church St. received an order for arrest on Tuesday for failure to appear in court, according to a police report. He bailed himself out after being held under a $100 bond.


LAUREL HILL — Daveyon Graham, 19, and Akeem Hayes, 23, of 14460 Austin Circle in Gibson, were arrested on Rockingham Road on Monday, according to a sheriff’s report. Graham was charged with resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer, harassing phone calls and communicating threats. Hayes was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana. Authorities seized about five grams of marijuana from Hayes’ possession and neither received a bond.


GIBSON — Raleak Graham, 21, of 13740 Teal St. and Anthony McLeod, 17, of 4160 Main St. were arrested Tuesday morning, according to a sheriff’s report. Both men were charged with felonies of breaking and entering and larceny and were held under a $7,500 bond each.


LAURINBURG — James Fields, 26, of 14 7th St. in East Laurinburg, was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of a controlled substance in prison/jail and simple possession schedule four controlled substance, according to a sheriff’s report. He was held under a $6,000 bond.


Break-ins


LAURINBURG — Chester Southerland of Purcell Road reported Tuesday that someone kicked in the front door to his home, causing about $200 in damages, according to a police report. Nothing was taken from Southerland’s residence.


LAURINBURG — Kena Vethea of South Caledonia Road reported on Tuesday that someone broke into her residence, caused about $100 worth of damages to the front door and stole a television, radio, DVD player all valued at about $800, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Hope Burrow of Purcell Road reported on Tuesday that someone broke into her home, caused about $100 worth of damage to the exterior door and stole assorted items valued at $3,415, according to a police report.


Theft


LAURINBURG — Ann Monroe of Peabridge Road reported Tuesday that someone stole approximately $600 worth of aluminum siding from a neighboring residence, according to a sheriff’s report.


Vandalism


LAURINBURG — Sarah Reed of Sugar Road reported on Tuesday that someone damaged her mailbox valued at about $100, according to a police report.
