Arrests


LAURINBURG — Korey McBryde, 36, of Charlotte Street was arrested at the magistrate’s office on Sunday for an outstanding warrant for assault on a female and trespassing, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Jonnie Revels, 24, of Maple Street was arrested on Sunday at the magistrate’s office for an outstanding warrant for larceny, according to a police report. She was held under a $1,000 bond.


LAURINBURG — Aaron Smith, 23, of Maple Street, was arrested at the magistrate’s office on Sunday and received a warrant for larceny, according to a police report. He was held under a $1,000 bond


LAURINBURG — Jamie Jernigan, 36, of 12261 Evergreen Lane received an order for his arrest on Saturday for a probation violation and failure to appear in court, according to a police report. He was held under a $800 bond.


LAURINBURG — Mary Gibson, 34, of 1105 Hammond Drive was arrested for simple affray and held under a $700 bond, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Edward Charles Steele, 23, of 327 Douglas St. was arrested at his residence on Friday for failure to appear in court, according to a police report. He was held under a $2,500 bond.


GIBSON — Brandi Wyland, 27, of 13340 McLaurin Ave. was arrested at his home on Sunday and charged with simple assault and communicating threats, according to a sheriff’s report.


Break-ins


LAURINBURG — Shenetta Graham of Stewartsville Road reported on Sunday that someone broke into her residence and stole a television, laptop and game system valued at about $1,900, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Annie Tyson of Gamma Street reported Sunday that someone broke into her home and took assorted bed coverings and jewelry valued at about $120, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Zion Campbell Ame Church of Midland Way reported on Saturday that someone gained entry into the building and attempted to break into the storage area inside, according to a police report. It is unknown of whether anything was missing.


LAURINBURG — South Baptist Church of Maple Street reported on Saturday that someone stole an undisclosed amount of money from a desk drawer inside the building, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Steven Locklear of Laurel Hill reported on Friday that someone broke into his 2012 Ford truck at Scotland High School sometime between 6:30-10:30 p.m., according to a police department. Someone stole purses, money and credit cards valued at about $360.


LAURINBURG — Margaret Johnson of Midland Way reported Friday that someone broke into her vehicle while parked at Scotland High School between 6:35 p.m. and 10:10 p.m., according to a police report. Someone entered the vehicle but nothing was reported missing.


LAURINBURG — The Doghaus on South Main Street reported Friday that someone broke into the building and stole an undisclosed amount of money, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Charles Norris of Ross Street reported on Friday that someone broke into his residence and stole a $3,000 flatscreen television, according to a sheriff’s report.


Theft


LAURINBURG — Family Dollar, of Aberdeen Road at Northside Square Shopping Center, reported Saturday that someone entered the store, took a RF Modulator and left, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Randy Chavis of Plantation Road reported on Saturday that someone entered his residence, disassembled a small motor and stole about $350 worth of vehicle batteries and air compressors, according to a sheriff’s report.


LAUREL HILL — Judith Rodriguez of Hunt Club Road reported Saturday that someone stole two air conditioning units from her residence, according to a sheriff’s report. Togther, the units are valued at about $1,000.


GIBSON — Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, at Railroad Street, reported on Saturday that someone took a small air conditioning unit valued at about $50 from the building, according to a sheriff’s report.


Vandalism


LAURINBURG — Darian Beathea reported a vandalism on Sunday, according to a police report. Someone broke the rear glass of his 2008 Cadillac and the damages value at about $400.


LAURINBURG — Nancy McKoy of Duncan Street reported Sunday that someone spray painted the car port of her residence and damaged the solar lights outside of her home, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Rudolph Christian of Barnes Bridge Road reported on Sunday that someone fired several shots into his residence and caused about $1,000 worth of damage to the interior sheet rock walls, glass and wooden front of his home, according to a sheriff’s report. The investigation is still ongoing.


Arson


Gibson — Tammy Johnson of North Main Street in Society Hill, S.C. reported on Sunday that a 1994 Grand Jeep was set on fire on X-Way Road, according to a sheriff’s report.
