LAURINBURG — The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina will hold a meeting in Laurinburg to discuss the Cultural Center.
A meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Lumbee Heritage Elders Court building on Aug. 19. Tribal members in District 12 are encouraged to attend. The tribe recently took ownership of the former N.C. Indian Cultural Center. Tribal staff will be on hand to talk about the tribe’s plans to renovate the 400-acre site.
The community building is located at 16220 Lumbee Heritage Lane in Laurinburg.
