WHITEVILLE — Steven Nicholas Liles and Christi Leann Gentry were united in marriage at 4 p.m. on Oct. 5, 2013 in an outdoor ceremony held at the Bummin Hole Lodge, with a reception hosted by the bride’s family immediately following. The Rev. Patricia Stone Butson officiated the wedding.
The groom is the son of Steve and Becky Liles of Laurinburg and the grandson of Barbara Broughton of Laurinburg, Louise Liles of Gibson, and S.W. and Virginia Faile of Kershaw, S.C.
The bride is the daughter of Jamesie Gentry of Whiteville and the granddaughter of Jimmy and Judy Horne of Chadbourn.
Father of the groom Steve Liles served as best man. Groomsmen were Tanner Smith, Michael Nance, Derrick Lowery, and Jamie Currie.
Jamie Gentry and Jordan Gentry gave their sister in marriage, and Marci-Anna Pridgen served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katelyn Pridgen, Kristi Barnes, and Colby Liles. Nephew of the bride Lathan Gentry was the bride announcer.
Maggie Liles, Sarah Liles, and Tara Gentry served as greeters. Rhonda White was the wedding director and music was provided by Mike Barnes with Amanda Connor as the soloist. Lisa Burchette and Rhonda White, friends of the bride and her family, were in charge of the decor.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by Steve and Becky Liles and the Bummin Hole Lodge on Oct. 4. The newlyweds were also honored at several bridal showers prior to the wedding by friends and family members of the couple.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Laurinburg.
