LAURINBURG — Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center of Scotland County will hold two 10-week support groups this year, one to help survivors of domestic violence and address the cycle of violence in the home and the other geared towards survivors of sexual assault, sexual abuse or rape.
These groups will be held locally and conducted by Sharon Armstrong, Beth Taylor and two other staff facilitators from the center.
The series will begin in April, and facilitators are currently interviewing prospective participants. To be considered for participation call Taylor or Armstrong at 910-276-5505. Due to the sensitive nature of these groups, participants will be given the time and location of the group once they have been registered to attend.
