LAURINBURG — Bjorn Scott, 33, of 11620 Smart Street, James Tyndall, 19, of 8001 McQueen Road and a juvenile were arrested Tuesday for common law robbery and felony conspiracy after assaulting a victim and taking items, according to a sheriff’s report. They were jailed under a $10,000 bond.

LAURINBURG — A resident of East Church Street reported Thursday that someone stole her cellphone, clothing, medication, speakers, DVD player and an electric grill valued at a total of $350, according to a police report.
LAURINBURG — An employee of Scotland Memorial Hospital on Lauchwood Drive reported Wednesday the larceny of an iPad valued at $400, according to a police report.
Break-ins
LAURINBURG — Bright Hopewell Baptist Church on South Main Street reported Wednesday that a lock was broken off a storage building, but nothing was taken, according to a police report.
LAURINBURG — A resident of East Vance Street reported Wednesday that someone broke into his garage, but nothing was taken, according to a police report.
Vandalism
LAURINBURG — A resident of Duncan Street reported Wednesday that someone set fire to her mailbox and caused an estimated $60 worth in damage, according to a police report.
