LAURINBURG — A city resident reported that someone shot at him in his vehicle shortly after noon on Monday on Harry Malloy Road, according to a sheriff’s report. No injuries were reported, but three projectiles from a .40 caliber handgun were found at the scene.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Havelock Drive reported that someone broke into his home through the back door on Monday, according to a sheriff’s report. A pair of earrings valued at $100 was reported stolen.

LAURINBURG — A resident of Bridle Path Drive reported a Smith and Wesson handgun stolen from their vehicle at the Kangaroo Express gas station on South Main Street on Saturday, according to a police report.
LAURINBURG — A resident of North Caledonia Road reported a stolen handbag from Rob’s Convenience laundromat on Sunday, according to a police report. The total value was $200.
