Arrests


LAURINBURG — Byrone Steele, 36, of 1126 Hamlin Drive, was served a warrant on Friday for larceny at the magistrate’s office, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Anna Jacobs, 28, of 4213 Ray Lane in McColl, S.C., was arrested at the magistrate’s office Friday for outstanding warrants, according to a police report. She was served with a warrant for contempt of court and two warrants out of Robeson County for breaking and entering and larceny. She was held under a $6,000 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Thurston Johnson, 33, of 1013 North Main St., was arrested on Friday for trespassing at Scotland Motors, according to a police report. He was held under a $7,000 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Travlon Elliott, 19, of 19460 Pineneedle Circle, was arrested Friday for larceny at Walmart, according to a police report. He was held under a $1,500 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Rodney Forte, 28, and Layonda Primus, 27, of 501 Butler St., were involved with a disturbance at Waffle House on Friday, according to a police report. Forte was served a criminal summons for disorderly conduct. Primus was arrested for simple assault, vandalism and disorderly conduct and was held under a $1,000 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Tarka Watson, 31, of 318 Carver St., was arrested on Saturday for aggravated assault, according to a police report. Watson was held under a $1,000 secured bond.


LAURINBURG — Jeanine Williams, 52, of 8161 Rockingham Road, was served a warrant Saturday for vandalism, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Willie Michael Little, 53, of 17060 Old Lumberton Road, was served a criminal summons Saturday for communicating threats, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Jonathan William Cheavers, 21, of 725 Hall St., was served a warrant on Sunday for communicating threats, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Mercedes Pate, 19, of 1508 Hickory St., was arrested on Saturday and charged with misdemeanor injury to personal property, according to a sheriff’s report.


Thefts


LAURINBURG — Rita Pankey, of Hall Street, reported on Friday that someone stole a WIC voucher, worth about $300, from her vehicle, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Hibbett Sports, at Scotland Crossing Drive, reported Saturday that two men stole about $1,000 of assorted clothing from the store, according to a police report.


Break-ins


LAURINBURG — Debra Troublefield, of McColl Road, reported Friday that someone broke into her home and stole a stove, oven, television and furnace heater, each valued at about $500, according to a police report. The thief also stole the metal underpinning around her home, valued around $250.


LAURINBURG — James Weaver, of South Turnpike Road, reported on Saturday that someone broke into his home and stole about $4,250 worth of electronics and a rifle, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Linda Fairley, of Saddle Path Circle, reported on Saturday that someone attempted to break into her home, according to a police report. The unknown suspect caused about $500 damage to the garage door when they tried to pry it open.


LAURINBURG — Winter’s Paradise, at McColl Road, reported Sunday that someone broke the glass on the front door of the establishment with a brick, causing about $300 damage, and stole an undisclosed amount of money from inside, according to a police report.


Assault


LAURINBURG — Kellie Williams, of South Turnpike Road, reported Saturday that someone she knew harassed and threatened her while she was at Jersey Mike’s Subs, at McColl Road, according to a police report.


LAURINBURG — Sherry Fairall, of Stonewall Drive, reported Sunday around 11:30 p.m. that a dog she was watching for a friend bit her on the forehead, causing minor cuts, according to a police report. The dog has been quarantined by Animal Control.


Vandalism


LAURINBURG — Lindsay McPherson, of Butler Street, reported on Saturday that someone broke the front window of her her home, causing about $50 damage, according to a police report.
