LAURINBURG – Three Laurinburg residents reported to police on Thursday that someone fired a shot at them while they were standing at the intersection of 2nd and McKay Streets.
Larceny
LAURINBURG – A resident of McRae Street reported to police on Thursday that someone stole a package containing $180 worth of Christmas ornaments from the mail.
Identity theft
LAURINBURG – A resident of Turnpike Road reported to police on Wednesday that someone attempted to file an unemployment claim in his name.
Arrests
LAURINBURG – Kiera Freeman, 30, of Grant Street was arrested on a warrant out of Virginia. Information on her charges was unavailable at press time. Freeman received a $5,000 secured bond, according to police.
LAURINBURG – John Tyler Clark, 26, of Vance Street was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of larceny stemming from an incident at the ABC store on US 401. Clark received a $1,000 bond, according to police.
LAURINBURG – Angela Davis, 52, of Bennettsville was arrested on charges of shoplifting from Carlie C’s in Holly Square Shopping Center. Davis received a $1,500 secured bond, according to police.
