LAURINBURG — A Lumberton woman was arrested Friday after stabbing her husband in the back during a family gathering in Laurinburg, according to police.
Patricia Hemingway, of 3834 Almanac Road, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. Her husband, Christopher Faison, is recovering, Laurinburg Assistant Police Chief Cliff Sessoms said.
According to Sessoms, the two got into an altercation at a home on McGirts Bridge Road.
Hemingway was placed in the Scotland County jail without bond. Hemingway’s mugshot was not printed because it only shows the top half of her face.
