LAURINBURG – A resident of Tara Drive reported to police on Sunday that someone broke into the home and stole a 49-inch smart television and Xbox One total value $2,768 from the home.

Larceny

LAURINBURG − A resident of Kinlaw Drive reported to police on Friday that someone stole a package containing a dress and shirt valued at $75 from her porch.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Sherbrooke Circle reported to police on Saturday that someone stole the Indiana registration tag from his Chevy Cruz and replaced it with an expired North Carolina tag when the vehicle was left unattended during the moving in process.

LAURINBURG – A resident of East Covington Street reported to police on Saturday that someone stole her amethyst class ring valued at $289 from the home.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Harrison Street reported to police on Sunday that someone stole a Huffy bicycle valued at $89 from the property.

GIBSON – A resident of Hamlet Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Friday that someone stole his 2008 Honda Civic, a debit card an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone total value $4,430.

Vandalism

LAURINBURG – A resident of West Boulevard reported to police on Sunday that someone scratched her tire rims and cut a chunk out of one tire on her 2015 Chrysler leaving $450 damage to the vehicle.

LAUREL HILL – A resident of Hamlet Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Friday that someone broke the windshield and passenger window out of his 1997 Honda Civic leaving $500 in damages.

Fraud

LAUREL HILL – A resident of Marston Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Friday that someone used her identity to obtain and account with Dish Network.

Arrests

LAURINBURG – Linda Gale Locklear, 62, of Patterson Road in Maxton was arrested for larceny at Belk and given a $15,000 secured bond, according to police.

LAURINBURG – Robert Kirk Mack, 27, of Laurinburg was arrested for disorderly conduct and given a $500 secured bond, according to police.
