Break in

LAURINBURG – Shamrock Tires on North Main Street reported to police on Tuesday that someone broke into the property and stole four Dodge rims valued at $800 and two Isuzu rims valued at $100 and 50 used tires valued at $1,250. The thief then sold the stolen merchandise to Pit Stop tires on North Main Street.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Britt Street reported to police on Tuesday that someone broke into the home and stole a 52-inch television and a 24-inch television total value $410.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Craig Lane reported to the sheriff’s office on Tuesday that someone broke into the home and stole a 50-inch television, 43-inch television and a laptop total value $520.

GIBSON – Futuristic Kustoms Paint and Body Shop on Main Street reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday that someone broke into the shop and stole a welder, pressure washer, paint sprayer, and two rolls of sandpaper total value $870.

Larceny

LAURINBURG – A resident of Old Farm Circle reported to police on Tuesday that someone stole a diamond solitaire ring, signet ring, watch and compound bow total value $2,050 from the property during a party.

GIBSON – Z.V. Pate Inc. of Morgan Street in Laurel Hill reported to the sheriff’s office on Tuesday that someone destroyed a heat pump valued at $4,100 at a property on Main Street and stole the copper tubing.

Vandalism

GIBSON − Z.V. Pate Inc. of Morgan Street in Laurel Hill reported to the sheriff’s office on Tuesday that someone broke a window out of a property on Main Street leaving $100 in damage.

Arrests

LAURINBURG – William Frank Williamson, 46, of Turnpike Road, was arrested for resist delay and obstruct and given a $1,000 secured bond, according to police.

LAURINBURG – Mary Katherine Smith, 33, of Turnpike Road, was arrested for resist delay and obstruct and given a $1,000 secured bond, according to police.

LAUREL HILL – Egypt Denise McRae, 28, of Warren Avenue, was arrested on a warrant for simple assault and received a written promise to appear, according to the sheriff’s office.
