LAURINBURG – A resident of Aberdeen Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Sunday that someone broke into the home leaving $150 in damage to a door. Nothing was reported taken at the time.

LAURINBURG – A resident of Aberdeen Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday that someone created an electronic check to steal $299 from her checking account.
Assault
LAURINBURG – An inmate at the Scotland Correctional Institute was attacked on Sunday and cut in the face by another prisoner using a homemade knife.
Vandalism
LAURINBURG – A resident of Honey Street reported to police on Sunday that someone cut two tires on her 2012 Chevrolet leaving $150 in damages.
LAURINBURG – The owner of an office building on Atkinson Street reported to police on Sunday that someone threw a brick threw a window leaving $500 in damage.
LAUREL HILL – A resident of McEachin Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Sunday that someone vandalized her Chevrolet Malibu body, windows and center console leaving $4,600 in damages.
Arrests
LAURINBURG – Kenneth McKoy was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon, and driving while license revoked and given a $25,000 secured bond.
