Larceny

GIBSON – A resident of Main Street reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday that her son had stolen the keys to her house and shot out a glass door with a BB gun. When she searched the son’s book bag she found a sawed-off shotgun and reported to the authorities.

Break in

LAUREL HILL – A resident of Andrew Jackson Highway reported to the sheriff’s office on Tuesday that someone broke into the home and stole a cell phone valued at $50.

Fraud

LAURINBURG – A resident of Bostic Road reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday that someone used her identity to file taxes.

Vandalism

LAURINBURG – A resident of Sallie McNair reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday that someone threw rocks through a glass door and windows of the home and damaged a mailbox leaving $725 in damages.

Arrests

LAURINBURG – Shymeek Jhayemeir Dudley, 20, of Prince Street, was arrested on charges of trespassing and given a written promise to appear, according to the sheriff’s office.
