His grandparents came to the area in 1948, working in the motel and restaurant businesses, and now, on the same spot where his father ran a deli from 1969-1979, Riggins is owning and operating Jerry's Deli and Grill with the pride that comes from following in your ancestors' footsteps.

Above all the others, there is one dish that Laurinburg patrons just cannot seem to get enough of, and that is Jerry's unique recipe dry- rub baby back rubs, a specialty considered by diners in the know to be one of the best meals in town. While quality food is a priority, Riggins also believes in the importance of maintaining a happy, friendly atmosphere -- and the two go hand in hand.

"I believe in offering a good atmosphere with the food to go along with it. Quality food at an affordable price is what we believe in", Riggins said.

Jerry's also offers a catering service and will make deliveries to businesses or those making large orders.
