LAURINBURG — Carolina Raptor Center will make its annual summer visit to the Scotland County Memorial Library for two shows on Wednesday, set for at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

A variety of live birds of prey will be featured in the library, including owls, Mississippi kite, falcon or merlin, a hawk and a golden eagle. This year Adam Winegarden will teach young and old about birds of prey while giving the audience a chance to see each one in the library.

Both events are free. Come early for a good seat.
