LAURINBURG — The Pilot Club of Laurinburg celebrated its 45th anniversary with the installation banquet of the officers for 2015.

The theme of the installation was the gem sapphire, which denotes Pilot Friendship and Service. Blue was the color of the night, from the table arrangement to the cake.

Installation officer Sylvia Stewart presented the current board of officers and thanked them for their service the past year. The oath of office was then administered to the new board. The new officers placed a white long stem white rose in a crystal vase.

Former president Linda Simmons presented incoming president Amy Inniss with a pin and gavel, the symbols of the office.
