LAURINBURG — A Laurinburg man wanted on several felony charges was arrested Tuesday and is being held in the Scotland County jail, according to Assistant Police Chief Cliff Sessoms.

Antonio Levon Littles, 30, of 907 South Pine St., is charged with a probation violation and for failing to appear in court for charges of possession of stolen firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, open container and resisting a public officer.

Littles was arrested on Tuesday without incident, Sessoms said, when he was found sitting in a storage building at 905 Biggs St. Officers had responded a call saying Littles was seen in someone’s backyard, and a search led them to the shed.

Littles was held under a $50,000 bond and will be turned over to federal authorities at a later, unknown date.
